Who?
Allium Software, LLC was founded in 2015 by Matthew Niehues. Matthew is a graduate of the University of Arkansas (Go Hogs!) and still lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas with his family, a dog, two cats, 8 chickens, and a so-so garden plot. Matthew has been working in IT professionally for almost 25 years. His family heritage in sculptural work (see Leon’s amazing work at his website) factors into the creativity, craftmanship, and attention to detail evident is his company’s work.
Where?
Allium Software does not have a corporate office. Our team is comprised of Americas-based employees and contractors that work remotely. We’re small, but that’s intentional. We have no junior staff. We hire and work only with experienced IT professionals. We are happy to work in-person with clients as needed, but we find that modern communication and collaboration tools used by driven and experienced professionals allow for most work to be done remotely just as effectively as in-person.
How?
It probably sounds cliché to say that we have a “holistic” approach to software, but that word genuinely captures what we are trying to achieve. Our first priority is our team members and their families. That’s why we prioiritize remote work, a flexible schedule, and staff compensation over profit for Allium Software. After our team, our next priority is our clients. It may not sound good to place 2nd in priority, but the fact is that we prioritize our clients over profitability. It is a point of pride for us to ensure that our work is more profitable for you than it is for us. Happy staff + happy clients = Allium Software. Let us show you how.
